Mexican Layer Dip
Ingredients
  • 1 large can refried beans
  • 2 pkgs. cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • Toppings
  • shredded lettuce
  • shredded cheddar cheese
  • diced tomato
  • chopped scallions
  • sliced black olives (optional)
Instructions

    Spread refried beans evenly along the bottom of a casserole dish.

    In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, taco seasoning, chili powder, salsa and milk. Whisk to combine well. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the top of the refried beans.

    Top dip with shredded lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, black olives and scallions.

    Refrigerate for an hour before serving with tortilla chips.
