Today I’m sharing with you one of my favorite breakfasts. It’s hearty, with volume to keep you full for hours. I just call it my Oats & Yogurt Power Bowl.
It’s fairly simple to assemble and the cool thing is you can mix it up and try different toppings if you’re feeling adventurous. I can be pretty boring and generally stick to the same thing, which is berries.
This would be good with peanut butter over the top or a different kind of crunchy cereal, nuts or banana! Go crazy.
The base is a single serving of steel cut oats and 1/2 cup of nonfat Vanilla Greek Yogurt. My favorite yogurt is the Triple Zero by Oikos. Then I topped the oatmeal side with a tsp of Sukron Gold Zero calorie Brown Sugar substitute and frozen blueberries. (You can use fresh, I just prefer frozen blueberries)
On the yogurt side, I topped with fresh strawberries, a tbsp of ChocZero Chocolate Chips & about a handful of Kashi Go Lean Peanut Butter Crunch cereal.
