Pinto Beans with Ham
In a large pot, add dry beans and ham bone and meat.
Fill pot with water to the top. Place on high heat until boiling. Reduce heat to medium.
Cook on medium heat for about 6-7 hours, checking every two hours or so to add more water. Keep the water level at the top of the pot.
Beans are ready when they're fork tender. Salt and Pepper to taste before serving.
Serve with jalapeno's, cornbread, fried potatoes or turnip greens.
