Creamy Bratwurst Stew

Creamy Bratwurst Stew

I think my favorite thing about winter is soup. This bratwurst stew is definitely one of my top favorites on the list.

I love soup, stews and chili. The more savory, the better. Its just so “comfy”.

Creamy Bratwurst Stew is a long-time favorite of ours and its always a huge hit if we have company over.

The best thing about this recipe {besides the flavor} is that its a crock-pot meal. Dice up your veggies and sausage early, toss in the crock-pot and have a delicious bowl of soup waiting for you later. Wonderful for busy weeknights or even a busy weekend when you’re out running around.

The recipe calls for bratwurst, and you can really use any kind, but our favorite is the Stadium Brats by Johnsonville, they’re the white-ish looking ones. I use two packages of stadium brats and slice them into circles. They’re SO good.

Let’s Make it!

Kris and I love to make this during the fall and winter months, especially when there’s football on! Throw it together in the morning and it’s usually ready by kickoff.
